LGT Wealth Management has appointed Siobhan Archer as global stewardship lead.

Archer will head up LGT's global stewardship initiatives, overseeing the wealth management firm's strategy across voting, engagement activities and policy advocacy.

In her new role, Archer will work closely with LGT's management teams across the UK, EMEA and APAC, with the aim of improving their stewardship activities as part of the company's Net Zero 2030 strategy. 

She will help form the strategy for the wealth manager's net-zero ambitions, as well as across biodiversity and human rights work.  

Archer brings significant experience in stewardship and sustainable investing, first joining LGT's sustainable investing team in 2021 as a sustainable investment specialist.

Prior to this, she worked for the UN Principles for Responsible Investment and held a role in ESG research and advisory at Arabesque Asset Management. 

In her new role, Archer will report to Phoebe Stone, head of sustainable investing at LGT.

Stone said Archer has "worked closely with our equity research teams to expand voting to all directly held equities, voting on over 3,000 proposals and engaging both individually and collaboratively through global initiatives".
