IQ-EQ, a global investor services group, has appointed David Giannone as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for the Americas region.

Giannone brings to IQ-EQ over 25 years' experience in the financial services industry, with specialisms in private capital, offshore structures and business development.

He joined the firm's US business development team as a senior managing director earlier in 2023, having previously spent nine years with RBC Investor and Treasury Services, where he held various roles including Global Head of Business Development, Head of US, and was a member of the Executive Committee. His career also includes senior roles with BNP Paribas, BNY Mellon and Alger.

His promotion to CCO, Americas will see him join IQ-EQ's U.S. senior leadership team, where he will work closely with the wider team continuing to build on the firm's solid growth in the U.S. and implementing further strategic growth plans. As head of the regional commercial function, he'll be responsible for the Group's commercial ambitions across the U.S. and Caribbean, with a focus on sales, internal commercial collaboration and driving operational efficiencies within the team.

IQ-EQ's Regional CEO for the Americas, Matt Okolita, said: "Together as a team, IQ-EQ is building an incredibly strong business in the U.S. by winning larger mandates, deepening client relationships and becoming a trusted partner in the world's largest investment market. David has been a fantastic asset to the business since he joined us, and I'm confident that as CCO he'll continue building on the great work done to date, harnessing the potential of this key growth region."
