Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) has appointed Marco Barindelli as Director of Italy with immediate effect, in order to continue executing the firm's strategic ambitions for 2024 and to strengthen ties with local clients and intermediaries in the country.
Barindelli joins from Schroders Investment Management, where he worked for more than twenty years in various senior sales positions across different client segments.
He will be responsible for expanding Natixis IM's presence in the Italian market, overseeing strategic relationships with institutional and wholesale clients and increasing the presence of its investment subsidiaries.
Based in Milan, Barindelli will oversee the Italian distribution team and will report to Sophie Del Campo, who is responsible for distribution for Southern Europe, Latin America and the United States.
She said: "Marco's extensive industry experience and knowledge of the different distribution segments will be invaluable as we continue to execute on our strategic ambitions."
