Association of International Life Offices (AILO) has appointed Jeffrey More of Monument International as its Chair at the recent Annual General Meeting.
Until earlier this year he was the CEO at Monument International Life Assurance Company Limited, having led the Isle of Man insurer for most of the last two decades under the previous ownership of Charles Taylor and Aberdeen.
Active in the life insurance industry for almost 40 years, he has worked on the Isle of Man since 1993, specialising in actuarial and financial management, mergers and acquisitions, insurance management and reinsurance.
More was previously the Appointed Actuary at Scottish Provident International on the Isle of Man, having started his career in Edinburgh at Scottish Provident Institution, qualifying as an actuary in 1989 having studied actuarial maths at Heriot Watt University.
He also previously served for many years on the AILO Management Committee in the role of Treasurer.
