Amundi
Amundi US has appointed Gustavo Lozano as Head of Latin America as of 1 October. He also becomes a member of the Americas Management Committee.
Lozano oversees Amundi offices in Mexico City and Santiago, Chile.
Prior to his appointment, he served in senior roles in Mexico for 10 years, most recently as Mexico Country Head, Central America & Caribbean. He has more than 30 years of experience in sales and trading in the asset management industry.
Prior to joining Amundi, he was head of institutional sales for Bank of America in Mexico. He was also international sales sirector for ING Bank in Mexico, and earlier in his career worked in FX Spot and Derivatives Management at Societe Generale.
Julius Baer
Julius Baer has made several appointments across Region Americas " in line with its ambitious growth targets" with the following appointments for its local operations in sub-region Brazil:
• Lucas Rizzi joins in October as Chief Operations and Chief Technology Officer. Lucas joins Julius Baer from Itaú Private Bank where he was Head Customer Digital Experience.
• Greice Rabelo joined Julius Baer in September as Senior Relationship Manager. Greice joined from BNP Paribas where she was Head Private Bank Belo Horizonte.
• Antonio Monteiro, previously responsible for Single and Multi-Family Offices at ASA Investments, joined in September as Senior Relationship Manager.
• Laura Drummond Correa joins in October as Relationship Manager. She was previously at XP Investimentos.
• Kevin Liu joins Julius Baer in October as Relationship Manager. He previously worked at Messem Investimentos.
In sub-region Mexico and Hispanic Americas, a new team of Relationship Managers joins Julius Baer in October to strengthen the Mexico Desk in Zurich:
• Miguel Caballero joins Julius Baer as Team Head, reporting to Marc Furler, Market Head Mexico. Miguel was formerly Team Leader Mexican Desk at BBVA.
• Martín Giménez Pina joins Julius Baer as Senior Relationship Manager. He was previously a Senior Relationship Manager at BBVA covering Mexico and other markets in South America.
• Carlos Fernández joins Julius Baer as Relationship Manager and was previously at BBVA.
• Fernando Caro Sierra joins as Assistant Relationship Manager from BBVA where he was an Account Manager.
To support the local business, Senior Relationship Manager James Armstrong relocated to Uruguay from Zurich, and Virginia Meharu was hired as Assistant Relationship Manager.
Sub-region Mexico and Hispanic Americas is part of Region Americas and includes Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Colombia among other markets.

Crestbridge
Crestbridge has appointed Stephen Mitchell to the role of director, compliance officer & money laundering reporting officer (MLRO) in the UK, as the business continues to expand its Group risk function.
In his new role, he will, with approval from the FCA and HMRC, assume compliance oversight and money laundering reporting responsibilities for Crestbridge's UK entities.
Mitchell will be responsible for overseeing the regulatory framework in the UK businesses and acting as a point of contact with regulatory bodies, whilst also playing a pivotal role in monitoring the evolving regulatory landscape for the business.
With over 30 years' experience in compliance, Stephen joins Crestbridge from his role as head of compliance for Railpen, a regulated entity managing approx. £35bn of pension assets in the UK.
Prior to that, he held senior compliance roles for a number of major regulatory, banking, investment and asset management organisations, overseeing and implementing compliance policy and frameworks across the institutional and private client space in the UK, Channel Islands, Europe, US and Asia.

M&G
M&G Real Estate, part of M&G plc's £76.7bn private assets and alternatives division, has appointed Marcus Eilers as head of European residential to lead its expansion into the European Living sector across its fund range.
Reporting to Alex Greaves, head of UK and European living, he will be based out of M&G's Frankfurt office working closely with Marc Reijnen - Head of European Investment and Asset Management.
With more than 16 years of residential real estate experience, Marcus joins from Roundhill Capital where he has played a leading role in developing Roundhill's European businesses, serving most recently as Head of Residential Asset Management. Marcus was also a founding partner of a boutique firm advising large residential landlords in Germany and holds a Master's degree in business administration from the European Business School.
Leveraging both M&G's UK residential platform and its European team, Marcus Eilers will identify opportunities to develop and invest in sustainable homes with high levels of amenity that support wellbeing and community. Both teams have already collaborated on €750m of European residential transactions in the last 18 months.

Quilter
Quilter, the wealth manager, today announces the appointment of Daisy Dupree-Loxton as its new head of wellbeing.
She joins from The Walt Disney Company where she has been manager of wellbeing and mental health since 2019 and helped to embed wellbeing programmes, including Mental Health First Aiders, in the business.
Prior to this her experience includes HR roles at Kingfisher and EY. Daisy is also a Mental Health First Aid England instructor.
She will be responsible for continuing to develop Thrive, Quilter's employee wellbeing programme that's been active since the business listed in 2018. Thrive aims to support and enhance the wellbeing of Quilter employees to help them to be healthy in their physical, social, financial, emotional and mental wellbeing. Quilter also has trained mental health first aiders across the business to support colleagues.
At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Quilter launched a version of Thrive for financial advisers offering them access to online mental health and wellbeing tools and support.

Harneys is pleased to announce that Partner Andrew Johnstone has been appointed Head of the Litigation, Insolvency, and Restructuring practice in the firm's Cayman Islands office. He has been with Harneys in Hong Kong for over 4 years where he has built a leading reputation as an offshore litigator. He relocated to Cayman in early September, to join and lead the Cayman disputes team.
Johnstone specialises in fraud and asset tracing, asset preservation and enforcement, shareholder disputes, contentious trusts and insolvency. He has advanced specialist expertise in cross-border and multi-jurisdictional litigation, including obtaining recognition orders, and all forms of interim relief including disclosure orders, freezing injunctions, anti-suit injunctions and search orders. He is a highly experienced advocate and trial lawyer with a reputation for providing user-friendly and practical advice to listed companies, corporates, hedge funds, professional advisers and high net worth individuals.

Ogier Global's Sustainable Investment Consulting team has made a new senior hire in Dublin as demand for its specialist advisory services continues to grow in Europe.
Dasha Kuts has joined the consultancy as a senior manager, bringing to the role more than 15 years of experience in impact investing, ESG reporting and compliance.
Sustainable Investment (SI) Consulting is a dedicated consultancy at Ogier Global, offering bespoke design, integration, management and reporting solutions to clients. Dasha will be working with its Europe-based clients and wider client network to support asset managers, wealth managers, and institutional investors across public and private markets.
