US headquartered Petra Funds Group, a fund administration provider to global private equity and debt funds, has hired Steven Antonson as its chief of staff.

Antonson (pictured) brings 15 years of experience in finance and operations with a focus on control-oriented investments in cash-generating assets and businesses.

Before joining Petra, he was a founding member, CFO & COO at Zero Infinity Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm. Previously, he served as a vice president of the private equity business at Fortress Investment Group. He also worked at General Electric, participating in its Financial Management Program (FMP) and Corporate Audit Staff (CAS).

Antonson will work closely with the company’s partners, directors, and controllers to develop and implement strategies for business development and internal structuring for scalability and growth.
