IQ-EQ, the investor services group, has appointed Tamas Mark as its new global head of real assets.

In this newly created position, Mark will lead the Group’s global real estate and infrastructure strategy.

With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, he has extensive knowledge of managing complex real estate structures holding assets across many property sectors.

He joined IQ-EQ in 2020 as head of real estate at IQ-EQ Luxembourg, where he was a key relationship director to a dedicated portfolio of real estate clients. He was also responsible for driving the real estate strategy for Luxembourg within the Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) segment.

Prior to joining IQ-EQ, Mark held a number of strategic senior leadership roles such as director for real estate and business unit director, Real Estate Solutions with an investor services group.

His experience also includes a three-year period as a senior manager for corporate and tax services with a Luxembourg-based law firm as well as senior tax advisory roles with two of the Big 4 accountancy practices.

In this newly created role,  he will implement a global real estate and infrastructure strategy for IQ-EQ’s clients to optimise service offerings and new products. He will also contribute to the development of centres of excellence for specialised real asset services.
