Those shortlisted for the Isle of Man Innovation Challenge 2025 will present solutions that "address real-world challenges and foster innovation" in the Isle of Man, with the finale held at a special event on June 26, 2025. Click here to register to attend
The 2025 challenge spans three sectors: FinTech, Cleantech, and Data & AI. By tackling key issues such as sustainable energy, nature positive capital, data integrity, and more – the Innovation Challenge provides businesses with a platform to scale globally, create meaningful impact, and contribute to the Island’s reputation as a UNESCO Biosphere and a hub for innovation.
In the lead-up to Finale Day on 26 June 2025, finalists will refine their solutions before pitching them to the Isle of Man’s leading industry professionals.
In this video Pickering was interviewed earlier this year about the project by II and IA Publisher Gary Robinson, who was also visiting to deliver II Awards 2024-25 trophies to the organisation which included the prestigious International Financial Centre of the Year Award 2024-25 and the Investment International 25th Anniversary Special Award 2024-25.

Organised by the Isle of Man Department for Enterprise’s Executive Agencies—led by Digital Isle of Man and in collaboration with Business Isle of Man and Finance Isle of Man—this Challenge offers a platform for global innovators to engage with government bodies, regulators, and local businesses.
