Equiom has appointed Naveed Shah as chief risk officer, to focus on enhancing the company’s risk strategy and compliance framework across multiple jurisdictions.
As a key member of Equiom’s global executive committee, Shah (pictured) will play a critical role in aligning Equiom’s risk management approach with global standards and best practices.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Shah brings extensive expertise to Equiom. Before joining the company, he served as Head of UK & CEEMEA Compliance and Operational Risk at Bank of America, where he was instrumental in managing regulatory and operational risk across complex regions. He also held senior roles in Risk, Control, and Operations at Deloitte, HSBC, JP Morgan, and UBS, giving him deep insight into risk management and compliance in diverse financial landscapes.
