IFGL Pensions names Morag Edmison as head of business development

IFGL Pensions has appointed Morag Edmison to the position of head of business development.

The International Financial Group Limited-owned SIPP and SSAS administrator welcomed her to the new role last month.

IFGL Pensions’ managing director Rachel Meadows said: "We’re delighted to welcome Morag to the team to assist with our exciting journey of growth. Appointing a dedicated Head of Business Development means that IFGL Pensions can more proactively support financial advisers, as well as showcasing our pension product solutions to a wider market."

Edmison has 20 years of business development experience in both the UK SIPP and international life space, having worked previously with companies including Canada Life and IVCM Pensions in Dubai.

She said: "I am delighted to be joining IFGL Pensions at this exciting time.  I am looking forward to helping to grow the business and brand both in the UK and internationally, building new relationships and developing existing ones."

Her role with Wirral-based IFGL Pensions will encompass the implementation of a UK distribution strategy for the company’s Insight SIPP and SSAS, as well as reinvigorating the distribution strategy for the overseas expat market, showcasing the IFGL SIPP.

Edmison added: "We want to establish IFGL Pensions’ place in the pensions market as the provider of choice for advisers seeking good quality service and product solutions for their clients."
