Standard Chartered global head wealth management, deposits and mortgages Marc Van de Walle has left his Singapore -based role at the bank.
In a LinkedIn post on 28 March he said: "There is always more to do and yet, in the course of last year, as I reflected on my aspirations for the future, I realized that I wanted to devote more of my time and energy to a role in which I could drive client and P&L growth more directly and holistically, leveraging my 30 years of global experience in both private and retail banking across distribution, sales, products and digital channels.
"I came to the conclusion that now is the right time to seek out a new challenge."
He spent nearly four years at Standard Chartered and prior to that an 11 year stint latterly at global head of products with Bank of Singapore and five years as head of wealth management at OCBC.
