Ogier Global, Ogier's corporate and fiduciary services division, has appointed Hoan Nguyen as commercial director of its Singapore office.
With over 17 years of extensive experience in asset and wealth management, Nguyen (pictured) will play a pivotal role in driving Ogier Global's business development initiatives and enhancing its client service offerings in the dynamic Singapore market.
A chartered accountant by profession, he has built a career specialising in the field of alternative investments, particularly within private markets. His expertise spans across technical accounting, compliance, governance, and providing practical, commercially viable solutions to clients. His approach to client service emphasises clarity, focusing on delivering risk-focused advice in "plain English" to meet the diverse needs of global asset managers and private clients.
Prior to joining Ogier Global, he worked at a Big 4 firm in Singapore, leading teams in servicing a diverse portfolio of asset managers with responsibilities spanning financial statements, internal audits, regulatory compliance, and consulting.
He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration from the University of British Columbia, majoring in Accountancy, and is actively pursuing the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) certification, highlighting his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
