Bank Julius Baer has appointed Patrick Prinz as head of the Swiss market, effective 1 August 2024.

Prinz will oversee all eleven of the Bank's branches in German- and French-speaking Switzerland in this role, which had been managed on an interim basis by Sonia Gössi, head Switzerland & Europe at Julius Baer,

In the Bank's home market, he will be responsible for all local Swiss business teams in German- and French-speaking Switzerland as well as for the implementation of strategic market initiatives.

Prinz has more than 25 years of wealth management experience. He joined Bank Julius Baer in 2019 as market head Germany & Austria, which he has managed very successfully over the past five years.

Prior to that, he worked for Bank Pictet & Cie SA, where he held various positions within the Private Wealth Management division, including head CIO Office in Geneva and Head Family Office Services Zurich.

In addition to his new role as head of the Swiss market, Prinz will continue to be responsible for the market Germany & Austria until the end of the year.
