Julius Baer has hired Ashwin Jayaram as team head of global NRI (non-resident Indians) in Singapore, effective from 19 August.
Jayaram (pictured below) will report to Vijay Solomon, group head of global NRI.
With more than two decades of experience in wealth management, Jayaram has held various leadership roles focused on the South Asian diaspora at leading institutions including Bank J Safra Sarasin, Credit Suisse, and Coutts Bank.
Most recently, he served as chief executive officer and managing director at a Monetary Authority of Singapore-licensed multi-family office serving ultra-high-net-worth clients across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.
