Money Map Media – publisher of leading international financial services title Investment International – has acquired International Adviser from publishing house Mark Allen Group Financial for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition adds a second title to Money Map Media which is part of G&M Media Ltd – a new company formed as recently as December last year by well-known financial services media professionals Gary Robinson, pictured below (who is co-founder and also publisher at II) and Mark Battersby, also pictured below (also co-founder and editor at II).
Money Map Media now has the two leading titles in the international cross-border financial services space and aims to continue to publish both titles separately with daily news, features, events and awards across both brands.
Gary Robinson, Director, Money Map Media, added that the acquisition fully reinforces the company’s commitment to the international financial advice news space.
“In taking over the reins as owners of II, we have proven our ongoing commitment to the international investment and cross-border advice space. Now with the addition of IA to our stable we are ready to take this two-prong approach to the next level.

The move is a particularly poignant homecoming of sorts for Battersby as he also was previously editor at IA.
