Brooks Macdonald has appointed Maarten Slendebroek as chair, subject to regulatory approval.
Slendebroek has also become non-executive director with immediate effect and replaces acting chair Richard Price.

"Maarten has extensive experience in financial services, including as chief executive of Jupiter for five years from February 2014 and as chair of the supervisory board of Robeco since August 2020," said senior independent director Robert Burgess. "We are extremely pleased he has agreed to become chair."

Slendebroek began his career as an investment analyst at Merrill Lynch and was also managing director and head of international retail at BlackRock for 19 years.
