Fintech company Fintel today (16 July) said it is to acquire fund research and rating agency Rayner Spencer Mills Research (RSMR) subject to regulatory approval.
RSMR, established in 2004 will become part of Defaqto, a financial data agency which already a part of the Fintel group.

RSMR is another strategically important acquisition, adding industry expertise, insight and data that is complementary to Defaqto’s. Fintel has already acquired eight companies in the past year including AKG, VouchedFor, Competent Adviser, Micap, Synaptic, Owen James, ifaDASH and threesixty.
