Neuberger Berman, a private, independent, employee-owned investment manager, is partnering with CCF Group, a century-old French banking group, to provide increased access to private equity.
This new agreement allows CCF Group to offer its French clients access to investment opportunities from "many of the world's best private equity managers" through Neuberger Berman's co-investment strategy, the statement on 10 July said.
Neuberger Berman has an extensive and long-established $131bn global alternatives investment platform, of which approximately $91bn is in private equity.
Since 2009, it has invested in more than 400 companies together with leading private equity managers, making Neuberger Berman one of the world's largest independent investors in this asset class.
Niccolo Ubertalli (pictured), chief executive officer at CCF Group, said: “We are pleased to partner with Neuberger Berman to provide our clients with an unparalleled platform to access investment opportunities in private equity. Private equity keeps on attracting growing interest from private clients, based on robust historical returns, lower volatility and diversification benefits. Together with Neuberger Berman, we are now making this asset class even more accessible.”
José Cosio, head of intermediary – EMEA and LatAm at Neuberger Berman, added: “As investors continue to value portfolio diversification and reliable long-term sources of returns, demand for private market strategies is accelerating across retail and institutional channels. We believe this trend is here to stay and we are proud to have partnered with CCF Group to offer our innovative solutions to a wider range of clients.”
