Blacktower Financial Management has appointed Taylor Sallery as the new US country manager.
He joined Blacktower in 2021 as business development manager from Florida-based Currencies Direct where he was a foreign exchange dealer.
During a 14 year career across the UK, Europe and in the US, he has held roles with a number of financial institutions, including Moneycorp,
Blacktower said his new role encompasses a focus on business growth through expansion and acquisition, particularly aiming to elevate the insurance agency's presence across Florida and the broader US market.

Blacktower added that Sallery's "foresight in business development" was highlighted by the introduction of a dedicated team to support the US business.
"This decision was complemented by the launch of US-focused teams in Switzerland and Portugal and Dubai, illustrating a global yet localised approach to business expansion", it said.
Blacktower further said the Insurance Services Entity is a recent milestone for the group. The acquisition of a US insurance licence and forming partnerships with specialised US insurance firms specialising in Annuity and life insurance business, have been instrumental steps in diversifying Blacktower's service offerings and fortifying its insurance sector footprint, it said.
