Arjun Infrastructure Partners, the independent European infrastructure fund manager, has appointed Rohini Pahwa as partner.

Pahwa joined Arjun in 2021 as a managing director, responsible for originating, executing and managing investments. She has been instrumental in the firm’s entry and expansion into digital infrastructure.

With a strong background in infrastructure and project finance, she has contributed to Arjun’s infrastructure sourcing and execution, including successful investments in Welcome Break’s freehold sites, fibre-to-the-home networks in Onivia in Spain and Altitude Infra in France.

As a senior member of Arjun’s investment team, Rohini sits on the boards of two Arjun portfolio companies.

Before joining Arjun, she served as head of distribution for power and infrastructure finance at Investec and held a senior role as an originator in NatWest’s Infrastructure and Project Finance team, where she led debt structuring, advisory and lending in all major UK airports, renewables and spearheaded fibre broadband deployment projects across Europe.

The appointment is in line with Arjun’s team expansion in Europe and North America over the past twelve months.

Surinder Toor, managing partner at Arjun, said: “Rohini brought extensive experience to Arjun when she joined in 2021 and has been instrumental in driving our expansion into the digital infrastructure space ever since, helping us navigate the sector and identify key investment opportunities in the EU. Her expertise is a great asset to the firm, and we are excited to see what she will accomplish next in her new role as Partner.”

Pahwa said: “It's been an incredible journey being part of Arjun’s growth and expansion, and I am grateful for the support I’ve received from both my colleagues and our clients along the way. As I step into this new role as Partner, I look forward to continuing to serve our clients and working with our portfolio companies with the same passion and commitment. Leveraging our expertise in the mid-market infrastructure space, I look forward to playing an integral role in Arjun’s next chapter of success.”

Arjun Infrastructure Partners has €5.7bn in assets under management and offices in London and Paris.
