Portfolio managers Simon Rowe and Steve Johnstone have departed Janus Henderson Investors as part of a raft of changes across the firm's multi-asset, equities and fixed income funds.
Rowe, portfolio manager of European equities at the firm since 2009, left Janus Henderson at the start of November, handing on the helm of the £293.8m Horizon Pan European Equity fund and the £35.5m Horizon European Growth fund to co-manager Marc Schartz.
The wider European equities team, which manages over $11bn assets under management, will continue to support Schartz, who has managed funds on this strategy since 2017.
The fund management responsibilities of the $127.8m Global Equity Market Neutral fund will be passed on to Robert Schramm-Fuchs and Tom Lemaigre following the departure of Johnstone, who ran the strategy since its launch in 2017.

Schramm-Fuchs currently manages $732m, the majority of which is in European long/short equity portfolios. He joined Janus Henderson in 2014 and became portfolio manager in 2016.
Lemaigre is a portfolio manager on the firm's style agnostic, European long-only portfolios, co-managing $6bn in assets.
In December, Investment Week reported that multi-asset portfolio manager Dean Cheeseman had left Janus Henderson Investors after five years at the firm.
Cheeseman co-managed the firm's multi-manager fund range and Core Multi-Asset Income fund range alongside head of multi-asset Paul O'Connor and portfolio manager Tihana Ibrahimpasic, who will continue to manage the funds.

George Maris, co-head of equities for the Americas since 2018, assumed the role of lead portfolio manager of the International Opportunities fund, supported by O'Connor.
Maris also runs the International Alpha Equity strategy and the Global Alpha Equity strategy, which includes the Overseas and Global Select products, respectively.
New Global Bonds team
There have also been changes in the fixed income team. Following an internal review of its product range, Janus Henderson has merged the Global Bonds and Strategic Fixed Income teams into one, referred to as the Global Bonds team.
John Pattullo and Jenna Barnard will lead the newly-merged teams, who manage a range of global income-orientated and global core portfolios.
Pattullo and Barnard have also been named as portfolio managers of the £302m Horizon Total Return Bond fund, effective from 1 November. Helen Anthony is still listed as one of the portfolio managers of the strategy.
