A new communications agency, Speakeasy Communications, has launched within the financial services sector, offering public relations, crisis and reputation management, content marketing and corporate communications to help companies and sole traders within the industry.

In addition to aiding businesses with building their online presence and reputations, with research indicating that over a third of projects fail as a result of bad communication, Speakeasy said in a statement that its approach is to set businesses up for success to ensure that their projects are delivered on time and on budget, supported by robust planning and communication strategies.

"I'm delighted to announce this launch and continue building better comms strategies within the sector for which I hold deep respect. We've been thrilled with the reception of our launch and already landed some fantastic opportunities," said Aimee Speight, founder of Speakeasy Communications.
‘What we're here to do is really quite simple; help people build and maintain trust both in and around their business. There have been huge shifts in the industry during the last few years, and the changes aren't over yet. If it was important to manage your communications properly before - both internally and externally, it's absolutely crucial now,'
With expertise spanning over ten years in marketing, PR and communications both in-house and agency side, Speight previously led all corporate communications for a global wealth management firm and partner IFA network, earning the brand its first industry award for Marketing Excellence in 2021. Before this, she managed public relations strategies for several fintech and mobile payments brands in the UK.
Speakeasy Communications will offer a bespoke selection of services, including media relations, content marketing, crisis management and project management; all based on the foundations of first-class communication, transparency and expertise.
