Link Fund Solutions has rebranded three Odey Asset Management and Brook Asset Management funds, for which it is the authorised corporate director.

Effective from 15 September, the LF Odey Opus has become the LF Lancaster Global Equity; the LF Brook Continental European has been renamed to LF Ardtur Continental European; and the LF Brook Absolute Return changed to LF Lancaster Absoluter Return.

The investment manager for the LF Ardtur fund has become SW Mitchell Capital, while Lancaster Investment Management will manage the other two, following the completion of the transfers.

On its website, LFS stated: "With effect from 15 September 2023, Link Fund Solutions changed the investment manager for certain funds from Odey Asset Management to SW Mitchell Capital and Lancaster Investment Management. As a result of the change of investment manager, the names of the respective company and sub-fund names also changed."

Charges for the funds have remained virtually unchanged following the transfers and change in investment managers.

According to LFS' factsheets, entry charges for the LF Ardtur and LF Lancaster Absolute Return fund will be up to 4%; while for the LF Lancaster Global Equity they will be up to 5%.

Ongoing charges will be 1.71%, 1.42% and 1.78%, respectively, while the LF Lancaster Absolute Return will be the only one to charge a 20% performance fee among the three.

SW Mitchell has also rebranded the Brook European Focus and Odey Pan European funds to Ardtur European Focus and Ardtur Pan European, according to its website. Oliver Kenton has remained the manager of all three, after moving across to the company from Odey AM and Brook AM.

SW Mitchell and Lancaster were supposed to receive four and five funds, respectively, from Odey AM and Brook AM, and it is not clear what the remaining four funds will be rebranded to.
