Indosuez Wealth Management (Indosuez), the global wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole Group, has appointed Francis Tan to the newly-created role of chief strategist Asia.

Tan is an expert on the global economy and financial markets, in particular for Asia and ASEAN, accumulated in his over 20 years in economic research and financial services.

He joins Indosuez from United Overseas Bank Group, where he spent over a decade, most recently as investment strategist at UOB Private Bank. Earlier in his career, he had worked across several financial services institutions including Phillip Capital and Royal Bank of Scotland.

Based in Singapore and reporting to Arjan de Boer, Indosuez’s head of markets, investments
& structuring, Asia, he will represent the Group CIO office and is responsible for formulating and articulating Indosuez’s global investment strategies in Asia, and translating them into bespoke portfolio solutions for high net worth clients.
