The Dubai Financial Services Authority today (15 November) issued a notice of crypto token recognition, in accordance with GEN Rule 3A.3.4 of the DFSA Rulebook.

The crypto token is  ZetaChain (ZETA), which is described as both a layer 1 (L1) blockchain and a smart contract platform with built-in connectivity to all blockchains and layers. It is the only public blockchain with smart contracts that can manage assets, data, & liquidity on any chain, even ones that don't have native smart contract capabilities, like Bitcoin.

The DFSA’s current list of Recognised Crypto Tokens can be found on the DFSA website.

The regulator said the recognition came into effect from the date of this notice (15 November) and remains in effect until further notice.
