Investment International set to launch as well-known UK and international financial services journalists Gary Robinson and Mark Battersby embark on their own publishing business venture.

Incisive Media's Gary Robinson and Mark Battersby are leaving their posts to set up a new media company focused on providing content and events for the international wealth management and adviser space, with Incisive Media's consent and good wishes.

This exciting new venture will see the current publisher and editor of International Investment become owners of their own publishing company.  At the same time Incisive Media, will move out of the international cross-border space and in turn will focus its priorities across its other brands within its largely UK-focused portfolio, which include key UK titles Investment Week, Professional Adviser and Professional Pensions.

Gary and Mark will continue producing market leading international cross-border news, bulletins, videos, events and awards, that they are well-known for, via their new title Investment Internationalwww.investment-international.com. They believe that with their extensive experience and established contacts, they will be able to take their output to the next level, as 2024 unfolds.

As part of what is a collaborative transition, Incisive Media will invite the existing audience of its international brand International Investment, to move across to the new website to ensure continuity for Gary's and Mark's bespoke and insightful coverage of the complex cross-border world.

Jonathon Whiteley, CEO, Europe, at Incisive Media's owners Arc Network, said: "We are sorry to see two such experienced industry professionals who we know so well leaving the company. But we are equally delighted that they are embarking on a new entrepreneurial journey which is very much the Incisive way. I expect them to make a great success of the venture and we all wish them well."

Kevin Sinclair, managing director, Incisive Media, added: "Personally, I will miss working alongside Mark and Gary on a day to day basis, but am very excited for their new venture. Knowing how hard they work, and the passion they have for the international wealth market, I am certain they will be a huge success. I wish them the best of luck."

Gary Robinson, Publisher, Investment International, pictured above, highlighted that the transition would be seamless and very much "business as usual" during the process. He highlighted that transition period for this change will take place across the next few weeks with International Investment website being redirected to www.investment-international.com from December 29, 2023. This will also see a migration to the new site of the II news and features archive, videos and II Awards at same time.

"I am incredibly proud that across the last eight years we've been able to establish International Investment at the forefront of international financial services publishing and events world," Robinson said.

"To be able continue this hard work under our own company is a dream come true. "I'd like to thank Jonathon (Whiteley), Kevin (Sinclair) and all of the Incisive team for their support in this process and across my time at Incisive and look forward to welcoming our loyal readership and clients across to update their subscription to www.investment-international.com.

"It will be business as usual under Investment International as the only place to find the latest news, views and videos for the cross-order financial services world. We are also continuing to support and collaborate with our loyal clients and produce events in UK, Middle East, Latin America and Africa, and of course, with Incisive Media's backing, the annual II Awards event in 2024," Robinson added.

Mark Battersby, Editor of Investment International, pictured above, said: "I am very excited to be joining Gary in this new venture. Our combined experience and enthusiasm for this space will see a host of new initiatives alongside our topical news coverage and insights across a range of media."
